Job Overview The Regional Coordinator plays a dynamic and integral role within the organization, driving the success of regional programs through comprehensive support of 1:1 business advising, ecosystem building, and overall client engagement. This individual proactively manages diverse responsibilities, including client recruitment and onboarding, team coordination, event orchestration, grant reporting support, analyzing data & running reports, office administration, and ensuring seamless regional operations. The Regional Coordinator fosters meaningful connections between clients, advisors, and community partners, while also refining processes, managing key partnerships, and generating insightful resources that guide program success. With a strong commitment to the organization's values of equity, empathy, transformational leadership, ecological responsibility, and resilience, the Regional Coordinator is essential in empowering communities and advancing the organization's mission. The Regional Coordinator will report to the Regional Program Director and will support KTA's Regions 3 (San Mateo & Santa Cruz Counties) and Region 4 (Santa Cruz, Monterey, San Benito, Santa Clara, Merced, Madera and Fresno Counties) with the possibility of extending support beyond Regions 3 and 4 as the role evolves.

We welcome diverse experiences and perspectives in our applicant pool, and will be looking for candidates who possess many, but not necessarily all, of the following qualifications and experience: Required: • Minimum of five years of relevant experience • Bilingual in English and Spanish required • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including tact, patience, and courtesy • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others • Highly motivated and flexible • Project management skills, including a keen eye for detail and follow up • High level of proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace, with the ability to understand complex spreadsheets • Familiarity with Salesforce, Airtable, and similar platforms • Ability to prioritize, plan, organize, and meet deadlines • Ability to maintain financial processes and invoice payment tracking • An understanding of the agricultural context of our work • Ability to successfully work independently, organizing own work and coordinating the work activities of others • Ability to stay organized, move multiple projects and priorities forward simultaneously, and reprioritize regularly • Experience building trusted relationships with communities of color and BIPOC-led organizations Highly Preferred: • Background in farming, running a small business, or equivalent experience • Familiarity with sustainable farming, food businesses, and nonprofit networks in Northern/Central California • Lived experience or cultural competency to engage with a diverse spectrum of clients and staff • Experience in event planning and execution • Connection to agriculture (family background or business, work experience, etc.) highly preferred
