Friends of Alemany Farm
This position will be one of a three-person farm management team and will work alongside our existing staff. Areas of responsibility include non-profit operations (including grant reporting and liaising with our fiscal sponsor) and co-leading farm workdays (horticulture and managing volunteers). As a small team, other administrative tasks will also be a part of this role. The Farm Manager will report to the Executive Committee of Friends of Alemany Farm (FOAF). Note on Experience: We don't require a prescribed number of years of experience or a college degree. If you are excited by FOAF's work and have many of the attributes listed below, we encourage you to apply regardless of age or the stage of your career. We are interested in candidates who have a demonstrated interest and experience in the food system, food justice, farming, and/or horticulture. We recognize that leadership comes in many forms, and we value the contributions and wisdom of those who have led from outside the nonprofit industrial complex.
